Over the years, through consultations with the best firms in Europe and the USA, and with a strong focus on implementing new technologies, including the world's most advanced membrane milk purification technology, "Bactocatch," the variety of products expanded, and their quality improved. In 1995, after an inspection of ŽEMAITIJOS PIENAS by the Lithuanian State Veterinary Service, it was determined that the company met veterinary requirements. By order No. 4-104 "On the Allocation of Veterinary Supervision Numbers" issued on July 20, 1995, the company was granted the state veterinary supervision number LT 78-01 P.
In mid-2009, the company received ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System certificates, which were also awarded to group companies "Klaipėdos pienas" and "Šilutės Rambynas."
Under the implemented self-control system, the company strictly controls raw materials, production processes, and conducts laboratory testing of the final product. Daily tests are performed by the Independent Testing Laboratory, which in 2006 became the first food industry laboratory in Lithuania to be accredited by the German accreditation body DAkkS according to international standards LST ISO/IEC 17025. The laboratory was successfully reaccredited in 2011.
